It’s been a hectic October for Fiona and Lesley

Not only have we been to see nearly 400 people in their homes and offices, this month, but we’ve been networking too.

The first networking event was the superbly organised Norfolk B2B Expo, organised and managed by the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce. This event is held each year and attracts business people from all over East Anglia and further afield. This year we were opposite The Space (where Jill and Owen were attracting customers with their lovely Swiss chocolates), and NBC Environment.

The NBC Environment Company deals with environmental issues including pest and bird controls. On their stand they had both an Owl called Flint and a Harrier Hawk called Scarlett to entice visitors to their stand!

We had a large Norfolk Artisan Food hamper to give away in the prize draw – the hamper was packed with Norfolk food and drink goodies, reflecting our East Anglian background and using local crafts people and products whenever we are able to. Naturally the hamper attracted many visitors to the stand, many had a play with the latest in high tech blinds we had on display too. A long but successful day.

Our second event was a smaller affair where we teamed up with Adnams and Imagine Spa to hold an evening in the delightful surroundings of Imagine’s Spa at Blofield Heath. With Hauntingly good Spirits from Adnams and superb nibbles from the Chef at Imagine Spa, the 40 attendees had a great time networking. The sdnams board advertising Hauntingly Good Networking

It was Becky from fellow Buy Local Members Face to Face Finance who won a smaller version of the Hamper; here’s Becky and Lesley with the hamper.
