Who says vertical blinds are just for offices? It’s time to get excited again about vertical blinds for the home. Combine the fantastic fabric designs that are now available, and the practicality of vertical blinds, it’s no wonder that these blinds are still popular with homeowners.
Try mixing and matching vertical blind fabric patterns; in this image, Louvolite (one of the fabric suppliers for our made to measure blinds) has used louvres made from their Paradise Chartreuse and Paradise Silver fabrics.
By way of another example, here is Louvolite’s Como Ocra fabric:
And here is the same fabric with alternating louvres in their plain Carnival Navy fabric:
If you prefer your blinds in a more muted colour, take a look at fabrics such as the Flutter White or Chenille Silver fabric from Louvolite:
The Woodland Silver fabric is also a popular choice:
Going to the other extreme, if you are looking for bright colours, you will love these – and this image shows yet again how effective a combination of fabric can be. This time, the use of a mixture of plain and patterned fabric has achieved stunning results. That is the beauty of having blinds that are made especially for you. We can be creative.
And, by comparison, this is the Tropicana Singapore Sling fabric on its own:
RAirwin (another UK-based fabric supplier that we use) also offers a wonderful choice. The benefit of using a company such as Norwich Sunblinds to make your blinds is that we are independent, so we are not limited to using any one supplier when it comes to choosing the fabric for your blinds:
