Norwich Sunblinds: A Family Tradition of Beautiful Blinds
Our story began in 1978 when John Reddington started Norwich Sunblinds from home, eventually opening his first shop in Norwich.
As a family business from the start, John’s daughter Fiona stepped in when her mother, Pauline, was expecting. Fiona become a director, and in 1989, her husband Kevin joined as Managing Director after a career in banking.

Manufacturing made-to-measure vertical and roller blinds
In 1980, we started manufacturing custom vertical and roller blinds above our St Benedict’s shop. Back then, deliveries of five-metre headrails meant closing the street just to lift them through a window—hard to imagine today!
As the business grew, we moved our production to Oak Street, and later relocated to the Bunn’s Bank estate in Attleborough in 1990.
With 17 skilled employees, Norwich Sunblinds continues to craft bespoke blinds, curtains, and shutters for homes across Norfolk

Your vertical blinds will be carefully handmade for your windows.
Oak Street
With the Oak Street property converted into offices, Norwich Sunblinds moved the manufacturing arm to Bunn’s Bank industrial estate in Attleborough in 1990 and then to the Haverscroft Industrial Estate 12 years ago.
Today, our factory operates from a new, larger showroom at 1 Maurice Gaymer Road, Attleborough.
