Plantation shutters offer a stylish solution for your home and can be custom painted.
Plantation shutters are a beautiful range of made to measure shutters suitable for windows and doors. They give a classic look to any room.
Shutters help to reduce noise levels and are both insulating and economical, giving ultimate light control – as well as low maintenance, being quick and easy to clean.

At Norwich Sunblinds we cater for special shapes, circles, arches, unusual windows and gable installations.

With slatted shutters, you have the option of tilting them, so that you can have some privacy or on a dull day they open right the way out and free up the window. You can choose from full height shutters or a tier on tier level, where you can open the top half of the window independently of the bottom. This allows you to tilt some, pull out some completely, or have some privacy. Shutters are also available as solid wood rather than slatted.

Shutters are kiln-dried twice in a computer-controlled drying facility, following six coats of either paint or stain. This ensures that they are less susceptible to fading and yellowing – the last layer is UV protected.

There is a choice of colours and stains and some shutters can be custom painted with Dulux or Farrow and Ball paints. A variety of hinge colours are available.
